William Marcolini, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Marcolini is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  Upon graduation, he completed a residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey where he is still currently employed. At Omni, he has served as clinical externship director and has adjunct faculty status at five optometric institutions.

Dr. Marcolini serves the optometry profession at the state level as the President Elect of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and as the co-chair of the Industry Relations Committee. In 2009 he was named “Chairperson of the Year” for his work on the Industry Relations Committee.

As an educator, Dr. Marcolini was a course instructor in the Orals Credentialing Course given by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2008. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Vision Expo Conference Advisory Board. He has lectured nationally at AOA, Vision Expo, SECO and American Academy of Optometry meetings. He has also been published in Review of Ophthalmology and Optometric Management. In 2009 he was named by the NJSOP as their “Young Optometrist of the Year.”
