Lauren Mullen, O.D.
Dr. Mullen is a graduate of the Catholic University of America, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, graduated magna cum laude, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry, where she was a recipient of the Charles and Mildred Schnurmacher Foundation Merit Scholarship and served as a class officer.
During Dr. Mullen’s optometric training, she completed clinical internships at the Veterans Hospital in Lyons, New Jersey, as well as at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Mullen continued her post-graduate training by completing an ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services and joined Omni as a consultative optometrist in 2008.
Dr. Mullen is responsible for the management and care of pre-and post-operative patients, as well as those with varying degrees of ocular disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, the American Academy of Optometry and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
In addition, Dr. Mullen is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of the State University of New York College of Optometry.
